My Photo Stream display in Windows folder

When you view Photo Stream pictures on a PC, they are arranged in a 'grouping' sort of way, rather than the standard way Windows displays items/pics within a folder. For some reason a few days ago, the folder 'Computer/Photo Stream/My Photo Stream' switched to displaying the pictures as standard Windows files/pics. The other folders that are shared still display correctly - how do I get the main 'My Photo Stream' folder to revert back to the way it was intended to display? Also, if I select 'add photos' to that folder, a standard Windows 'Open' folder pops up to select instead of the drag-and-drop that it's supposed to be.

I've repaired the iCloud Control Panel, reinstalled the iCloud Control Panel, and deleted & re-added all the pics/folders, but nothing worked. Help!!!
