I was hoping to be able to use 4G on my country with the new update, in fact I'm reading in the http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/ Latin America still out of the Service, Why?

Ask the carriers.
They say it's Apple who decides this, not them. Furthermore they authorized the iPad to run on LTE for that network but not for the iPhone, it doesn't make much sense to me.
Maybe Apple has determined that their LTE network is not ready for the iPhone...

Exactly is the same question I do my self!! There's a lot of clients of carrier Telcel ****** off by the paradigm is just insane but Apple still saying anything, as a Matter of fact I'm upset :(
Again: it is a carrier desicion as it is the carrier that has to have the adequate network. Apple has nothing to do with this. Complain to Telcel/Claro/Carlos Slim...
Why In the recent 6.1 for iphone 5 update LTE wasn't available for any carriers from Mexico?
