This happened after I recharged the batteries, this is the first time I changed the batteries out of the keyboard and mouse. The mouse won't connect either....

Eliza. I have the same problem, I have replaced the batteries in my wireless keyboard but it is not working therefore I can't log in as I can't type my password. (Doing this on my iPad). How did you solve yours please. Regards mfa
I make sure that both the mouse and keyboard is on before I turn on my mac. That seems to work.

Is the same problem with me with both keyboard and trackpad! Help please!
Fixed it! Turn off mac( at mains if need to) then turn it back on and hold down the keyboard and trackpad button. Works fine!
