when install X.repaired disk's damage.still can't install it.

first time could not install X.because the disk damaged,then I repaired it with press command R.(this part i have saw this link https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4148420?answerId=19063225022#19063225022)

but still can't install X,then I restart my MBP.the apple logo is flash with a sign of prohibit,i'm so scared,help!!

can't see the desktop.

i restart again with press command+R.I saw the spinning earth again.

what I should do?


sorry i don't know if i discribe it right or not...pls someone help me!

Was the repair sucessfull? Try it again and report the results. It may be that the HDD may need to be replaced.

Data is not lost when you repair a disk.


Just to make certain I would do the repair again.


If sucessfull try starting the MBP again.


If you still get the 'prohibit' sign, try the solutions in this support article:


http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570


It may also be the case that the internal connection cable may be faulty.


If so, the cable will have to be replaced.

I did it step by step.

i can see my desktop by safe boot,but restart after safe boot doesn't work.


Reset the NVRAM / PRAM

  1. Shut down your Mac. If necessary, hold your Mac's power button for several seconds to force it to power down.
  2. Reset the NVRAM / PRAM.

If the gray screen issue persists, go to the next section.

and i'm not really understand what does it mean. gonna open the back of my MBP with a screwdriver?
