I can sync music but not podcasts

I finally got itunes downloaded and my music can download to my ipod Nanu Gen 6. But i am inable to download Podcasts from podcast library to my Ipod?

iPod nano, nano software just updated

When the iPod is connected to your iTunes, look on the iPod/Podcasts pane and set the option to Sync Podcasts.
