I upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1 (from 6.0).
Also updated my iTune to 11.0.1.
After upgrading both my iPhone5 and iTunes the very next sync deleted all my events from Exchange calender. Why did that happen?
And how can I recover those events. 400+ calender events were deleted.

Did you setup iCloud?!
I've seen many exchange users "mirate their calendar" to iCloud without even knowing they did it.
Check tour outlook deleted items, as well as your Recovered Deleted Items. The calendar items may be there.
I was just freaking out about the same thing! Then I found it....
In settings:
Mail, contacts, calendars:
Scroll on the right down to Calendars:
Sync:
Default is last 30 days...just set to "all"
Everything came back :-)
