Im facing this problem in my iPhone.
Im trying to configure a mail based on Gmail plataform ( Its not @gmail.com)
I've tried the UnlockCaptcha, but im still having the problem shown below (Picture)
Any ideas?

Use the correct settings as documented in the gmail setup. FYI, the IMAP server is not imap.gmail.com.
Try setting up as an exchange using m.google.com
I did that, and now it shows me an error saying 'Password Incorrect, Enter the password for the Exchange Account 'Name' '.
Im 100% sure that the password is the correct one (Im with my safari browser (Mac) beside))
It could be a Google/Gmail plataform problem.
The password is not correct if that is the error being generated.
It works flawlessly if the correct information is entered.
If your mail is managed by a 3rd party system like mobile iron through your company you may need to have to correct profiles installed to access mail.
