Does iPad Mini have 4G?

Does the iPad Mini have 4G? When I bought it, the salesman at the store said it supports both 3G and 4G. My cell providers network is open for 4G, but on my iPad next to the name of my carrier it says 3G? Anybody else have this problem? If my carriers network is open for 4G and iPad mini has both 3 and 4G, shouldn't it say 4G next to my carriers name, not 3G, right? Unless the iPad Mini does not support 4G, that's the only reason I see.

iPad, iOS 6.1

The iPad mini supports a number of 3G and 4G (aka HSDPA) and LTE channels

see http://www.apple.com/ipad-mini/specs/

If your carrier uses the appropriate channel, then you should have the corresponding data speed connection.

Without know where in the world you are and with what carrier all I can say is yes, the mini supports 3G/4G and LTE. Whether your carrier supports the specific frequencies used on the mini is another issue.

The iPad mini supports 4G and LTE. Do you have LTE enabled in Settings > General > Cellular > Enable LTE
