Color-shifting with Quicktime Player X

Hi,

I'm preparing videos for the web using the H.264 codec. I am exporting these with the Quicktime Player 7 x264 encoder. I perform the video track trick (set Blend to 100%, Straight Alpha) to fix the gamma shift. It works with Firefox, VLC, Quicktime Player 7, Chrome...but not Quicktime Player X or in Safari (please see image attached). Is there a way to get QTX and Safari to view these videos the same way?
