Moving my library...

I need to move my music library between drives in the same laptop due to running out of space.

Now if i drag my entire library from D Drive to C Drive and then open iTunes will it automatically know where the music is now stored and find the correct path? Or will I have to browse each song and find it manually?

With iTunes closed, move the entire iTunes folder from the current location to the new one, then hold down shift as you click the icon to start iTunes. Keep holding until asked to choose or create a library. Click choose, then browse to the new location.

If you've split the library and media folders to different locations then the above method may fail. If so I can talk you through either tweaking the library before it is moved or offer a tool to repair the damage after.
