Sometimes my iPod Touch reboots randomly when I am using it. This mostly happens when it's below 50% battery. I got it for Christmas and it's still brand new. No fall or water damage, why does this happen? I'm on iOS 6.0.1 but I'll update today

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. If your iPod is defective and not abused Apple will replace it on the spot.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I've already tried a hard reset and a settings reset, both didn't work.
I also have a Wi-Fi disconnecion problem. It randomly disconnects and then reconnects for about 5 minutes. I can fix it with a settings reset, but it comes back after about a day
