My question is absolutely NOT related to Mac OS 9 but there are some VERY informed people who visit this board. So I am asking my question here.

I have a BUNCH of PDF documents (mostly tech manuals)  that need to be on my workbench. But having a computer on the bench to read  them is not practical.

Is there aomething like a Kindle eReader that I could buy to  put on my bench and use as a display device for my PDFs? It would need to have local storage for the files and some way to transfer the files onto the device.

I was able to upload a PDF to my Kindle account from my iMac (10.6.8) and was able to download it to my iPod Touch and read it on the Kindle application, so I can't see why you wouldn't be able to download to a real Kindle.
