I have noticed an increased amount of draining from my iPhone 4, ever since the new iOS 6.1 was released yesterday morning. I have only used minor iMessaging and my battery has seemed to drop a percentage every two minutes or so just in standby. It is sad to say that the Battery Bugs have not been removed and this problem needs to be resolved. Who else is experiencing drainage?

you better restore. REMEMBER do a backup before.
I saw no increase in battery drain after the update. In fact it appears my phone battery is lasting longer.

Odd.. I just might restore then, my girlfriends iPhone 5 seems to be draining even worse than 6.0.2, fix the WiFi bug issue and then get battery bugs. Seems a bit backwards.
Did you do your update Over The Air? Or through iTunes?
Just trying to see if this is similar to the 6.0.1 update that had a similar effect on iPhones updated OTA rather then through iTunes.

I'm glad to know I'm not alone. I updated over the air - could that have caused this problem? I also have an iPhone 5.
I updated my 4S this morning using iTunes (previous upgrades were OTA with no problem) and now the battery has been draining from full to empty in under 2 hours while sitting idle.
I have just reset network/carrier settings to default and it appears to be a little better. Will keep you posted.
I shall try the Network Reset and see how that does.
Yupp...battery is dying so fast. I have and iPhone 5 and literally barley used it all day and it is at 49%. They need to fix this battery drainage :(
Yes! My Iphone 5 battery is dying very fast after the update 😟. Even in airplane mode and phone in sleep drained abt 6% battery in 2 hours.
My iPhone 5's battery is also draining alot faster since upgrading to iOS 6.1 OTA...
My battery on iphone 4s has gotten horrible! This update has completely made it to where my phone will not last an entire day. This problem did not exist prior to the update of 6.1 a day or two ago. What's going on Apple?
My iPhone isn't lasting the whole day either. It's dropping a percentage every other minute.
