Unless I had a bunch of towers down or operating at reduced power on my home from work then they screwed around with the signal strength bars or did something to the LTE/4G radio. I usually have 4-5 bars except in 1 area but until I got close to home I had no more than 3 bars max. BTW This is in the Southern New Jersey area between Egg Harbor Twp and Lindenwold.

Ya my signal strength almost completely disappeared. It went from three bars to one. So I restored back to 6.1
How did you restore back to 6.1 when..1. Downgrading is not supporrted... 2. 6.1 is the current release and 3. there is no 6.2?
What carrier do you have? AT&T?
the firmware version does not depend on carriers.
I updated and then restored this morning after seeing all the issues other customers had and now my problem is mostly resolved.
The only people I have met who said they haven't seen the update have AT&T. Verizon customers got it and started update and it messed up.
there and 100s of att and verizon customers for whom the update went perfectly.
again: the update is controlled by apple. carriers do not matter. this is not like nokia updates where the carriers has strict control over it, with their visible customizations.
