I put in my wifi password for my home network and it accepted the pw but it just keeps spinning and not connecting. I reset networks doing a previous troubleshooting. Could I have the setting incorrect?

All of a sudden my wifi was not connecting....I tried to turn it on and off.....turn the ipad off. After doing what the suggestions offered said....i finally reset my network settings. I found my wifi network...put in the password and it just spins. It is not connecting. I know the wifi is working because I am using it with my desktop. What could it be?
