how to get a copy of my Ipad invoice?

I recently bought a Ipad mini at the Seattle apple store in University village. I receive the invoice by email but I erased it by mistake.


So I called the store by they say I have to come to the store to tell them about my problem.


I am now overseas and I just CAN'T physically come back to the store.


The employees on the phone seem a bit stubborn, always giving the same reply.


I am very disappointed about Apple services in that case.


Is there anyway I can recover this invoice? I've seen there's a couple of similar questions here, but no solution is given.

There is nothing anyone here can do about this, other than to suggest you retrieve your invoice from your deleted email. Depending on what kind of email service you have and how you configured it, it may be retrievable from its "deleted items" or "trash". Gmail in particular is noteworthy for how difficult it is to permanently delete emails.


Try that. Otherwise, you will have to return to the store and provide documentation that you are in fact the iPad's owner. I don't believe you would appreciate Apple divulging your personal information to someone not entitled to it.

This is not very helpful, but thank you for answering anyway.


I can understand the security issue. On the other hand, it is very easy to purchase anything with a credit card number.


Apple should allow us to prove our identity on the phone, like they do at my bank. They already have all my informations and I'm just asking that they send a copy at MY email adress.


Anyway. I have registered the Ipad and I'll see if I can get a copy that way.

Actually we registered (on her account) from the Apple store when we purchased it. I paid with my credit card. When we open her account to print an invoice, it shows only the online orders, and we don't have any. I don't see my registered devices (I should have My iMac somwhere too). How can I see them? So confusing...
