I understood that, but do you see any message when you try to update iPhoto? I can't try to solve your problem if I don't know more details about the problem
i go to apple manu and says update are not avilable. I tried App store says you have already iPhoto go to apple manue for suftware update.....
Open iPhoto. Then, open iPhoto menu > About this Mac, and tell me what iPhoto version you are running. The most recent is 9.4.2
