I just bought a new MacBook Pro Retina running OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2.

It did not come with any startup / 'emergency bootup' disk like previous Macs.

I have seen the site's articles on 'Internet Recovery', but Is there any way of getting the OS X software from the Apple Support site, and then burning this to a disk in case of future need?

Any advice would be appreciated.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 15", 2.6GHz, 8GB
