IOS 6.1 on the ipad (3rd generation)

After i update to IOS 6.1 on my ipad (3rd generation), all the icon in the apps store are gone regardless i choose tab featured, top charts, purchased and updates. What i can see are only wording (apps name, categories and price). Please assist.

I would first try disconnecting from your WIFI network and then perform a hard reset, by pressing both the home and lock buttons until the apple logo appears. When it boots back up, connect to WIFI and retest.

Should do the trick.

If the issue affects only a single app, try closing just that app:

Press the Home button to return to the Home screen.
Double-tap the Home button to display recent apps.
Tap and hold the affected app until the red minus appears.
Tap the red minus to quit the app.
Press the Home button, then restart the app.
