Why iTunes on Windows is so laggy?

I have a 16 gigabytes of RAM, RAID 0 disk massive, Intel core i7 CPU, nVidia 660 graphics, 100 mbit internet connection, but still it takes too much time to load iTUnes, it constantly freezes when syncing to iPhone or iPad, and I have to watch videopodcasts in HD win Windows Media Player after they are dowloanded becuase when playing them in itunes they start to lag, some color squares appear on them. Browsing library is slow and scrolling is laggy.
