Feb 5, 2013 8:27 PM in response to nath.02.28by matipizarro,Hi everyone!
Yesterday I talked with the Executive of Relations of Apple, I send a mail to Apple explaining the problem we have and after 10 hours they reply me asking my telephone number...
Today I received a call from Apple California, and I explain the 3G Issue that we are having, and she said me that the engineers of iOS are interesed in know more about our problem, so they are going to call me again and they are going to do some test with my iPhone. I explain she that the problem starts when we updated to iOS 6.1.
So when the engineers call me again I'm going to tell what solution the give me.

Feb 6, 2013 12:00 AM in response to nath.02.28by AlexGarvaz,My iPhone 4S is useless since I upgraded It to 6.1, it keeps saying it's 3G connected, but it's not. The connection goes on and off all the time, and the result is no internet when I need It, and a battery drain. The workarounds don't work for me. Spain. Movistar.

Feb 6, 2013 2:01 AM in response to nath.02.28by Ulambayar,Hello from Mongolia,
I had same problem, but I figured out this way. It works 100%.
Go to SETTINGS => General => Cellular => Turn on the Cellular Data and Enable 3G, => Scroll down go to Cellular Data Network => APN (Type APN name (internet . . etc) Becaus almost every carriers have different APN name)
Now i am using my 3G.

Feb 6, 2013 4:42 AM in response to nath.02.28by frankip5,I guess apples dies with the founder...
I have the same issues after the update. Calling apple is useless. Calling my telco maxis, and the moronic customer service tells me to google "downgrade iOS 6.1 to 5.1"... Duh...
I did all the rests and restores to no solution... Frustrated. I just took out and put back the sim card with the ip5 on.... And voila... 3G and Edge is back... But now battery drains quite fast. Was at 100% at 9 am and now at 9 pm is at 33%. No browsing nor calls for the day. Just left the 3G on and was on standby.
Is that normal.
