my ipod shuffle not charging and giving me a solid red led instead of orange one when connected to my windows PC.. HELP!!!!

PLZ help soon!!!!!

neither it is detected by my computer in anyway i have tried reinstalling itunes and tried doing everything like replacing charging cable but the response is same.. when i disconnect my shuffle nd try to on it it gives no response no led glow indicating its fully discharged. even i have tried resetting it a millions of times... plz help..!!!!!
