My audio books are not showing on my computer, in my devices.

I listen to audiobooks I download from my local libray. My books have been successfully downloaded to the Ipod, but when I want to delete them I am not finding them when I look in my computer, my ipod. Short of deleting everything, by a reset, I don't know how to remove some of my books. (This is a new issue, previously the books were shown)
