Hotspot login page problem

Hi,

I have an Ipad Retina and I'm trying to connect a public wi fi network. It is required an username and a password to be able to use it.

Yet, when I click on the network, it should open the login page but, instead, a message pops sayng: hotspot cannot open the login page because network connection was lost.

What can I do?
