Hi there I have ios 5.1.1 and I notice there is an update, so I installed it without backing up my personnal info and data, the problem is during the operation my iPhone freezes on apple logo, I want to restore it but I'm afraid I loose it all
How can I restore my phone without loosing my data ???

Sorry, but you can't. Restoring the iPhone will erase it completely. If you didn't get the iPhone successfully backed up before it froze, you'll have to recreate your data from the original sources.

If forcing a restart - hold down the sleep and home button until the iPhone restarts - doesn't fix the problem, and I doubt that it will - then your only option is to restore the iPhone. You'll probably have to place the iPhone into Recovery mode to get it to restore:
