JUST GO TO YOUR COMPUTER AND GO TO C/windows/system32/drivers/etc and open hosts file with notepad.

At the bottom type only this #74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

Surely I guarantee you this will work

And expecting your problem solved

and when I tried to donwload the newest itunes, it said itunes signature is not valid and it won't install

Type it WITHOUT THE SPACE BEFORE# copy it from#

Did you download the iOS firm ware

I think new iTunes is not necessary

And anyway how the **** then did you get error 3194?

I've downloaded it and I've tried to restore again after copying what you gave

but now it give me 3014 error notif

What should I do?

oh and I use the firmware 6.1 that techmadness gave in page 1 to restore

or should I just click restore (to 6.1.3 ?)

i have ipad 2 wifi ios 6.1.2

last night I turned it off, and when I wanted to turn it on it got stuck on apple logo then connect to itunes screen

I was told to restore but I can't restore it, there was loading and downloading thing on the top of itunes but then it finished without anything different and there the screen with restore button again

Hoping someone can please help me.  Ipad 2 didn't update correctly last night.  Now it says it's in recovery mode and need to restore.  I've tried it, and It says "cannot be restored at this time becuase the iPad software update server could not be contactd or is temporarily unavailable"

I also tried manually downloading the firmware file and restore using that but still get the same message.

Have been trying all day to get it to work with no luck
