Q: My Ipad 2 is stuck in recovery mode after the update 6.1

they didnt seem to know much about anything but some of them had very cute accents and were fun to talk to.....of course i would have rather they were all really grumpy but actually fixed my ipad!!

My windows 7 PC keeps changing the file extention automaticly to .zip when I set it to download the file. Then I -tunes cannot see the file with the .zip extention? I tried to extract the files. They do extract but then i get another error about missing encryption. any hints on how to stop this from happening?

Or hoping to chat one up and get a free one?

Windows will only download the file and will not change it to a zip, your have something else changing the file extension to zip.

Change the file extension back to .ipsw then go back into iTunes.

Do no extract the file, it isn't an archive so you risk damaging the file.

If you have to download the file again, turn off all download managers, browser add one etc and use Internet explorer.

Alternatively when instead of left-clicking the file link, try right-clicking and select 'save-as' and make sure the file type is .ipsw
