I have been using my printer HP Photosmart 7510 for a year. This morning I could not print. The message was Printer not connected. What is the deal?
OS X Lion-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
Is the Photosmart wireless? Is the amber light flashing on your AirPort router? Can you access the Internet?
Wireless-Yes
Light flashing-Yes
Access Internet-Yes
If you open up AirPort Utility, what error message do you see?
I sure appreciate your time and effort to help me out. After spending 3 hours reading everything possible from mac to hp, shutting down my computer and printer and rebooting I finally solved the problem. I knew it had to be something with the wireless anyway I shut down my computer, printer, router, internet etc. etc. etc. , turned it all back on and oh yes-it seems to work great now. I guess we all need a little reboot once in awhile.
