i have created a greater then 4 digit ipod passcode, i enter it correctly each time and it tells me incorrect. i have tried blanking my ipod but it still needs the passcode, and i cant use the original computer i synced it to due to me being on vacation, how do i reset my ipod or get passed the passcode? any tips or help would be much appreciated!

The only way is to either remember the passcode or
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

What happens when you connect the iPod to your computer and try to restore vi iTunes? Does iTunes see the iPod?
yes it recognizes an ipod is in there but theres no name, it just says *ipod*
In the Summary pane for the iPod in iTunes is there a restore button?
