Q: Is there a IR receiver for Mac Book 2012

I recenly brought an Apple TV with an Apple Remote, and in an other disscusion I saw that there in no IR sensor in the macbook air 2012. So it thought maybe there is any USB IR receiver or an app so you can turn the iSight Camera in an receiver.

The reason why i want to do this if for my keynote presentations on school so maybe there is an other FREE Iphone app.

If anyone know something, please give your oppinion.

    This article does not mention Macbook Air per se.

     

    I have not tried this. So i cannot comment on this App.

    Thnx for your awnser, I already knew this one... i'm dissapointed that there is no IR receiver in the MacBook Air

    Annoyingly I have just found this out. They used have them. I'm even more hacked off that my 27" Thunderbolt Display is also defunct when it comes to my remote. What the **** is the point of creating a display to turn your MacBook into a desktop without these features. So annoying when your trying to watch a movie from the sofa or bed. I don't know if this is a lack of design or an intentional removal. My feeling sways towards poor design although evidence seems to be saying Apple aren't supporting IR receivers?
