When I try to download iTunes, the screen says "Thanks for downloading iTunes" but it never downloaded. No screen comes up to download with.

I am using windows 7 Professional. I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions. Here's what happens. I click on the download iTunes button. A few seconds later a web page comes up that says Thanks for downloading iTunes. But nothing happens. No popups asking me if I want to save or run a file. No iTunes anywhere in my system.

I am administrator. Pop-up blocking is disabled. No strange characters in folder names. I did the msconfig thing and disabled all the third party startup programs.

I tried it in both Internet Explorer and in Firefox.

Probably ten attempts in all. The same thing happens every time, Which is nothing. Any ideas?
