iphone my front camera shutter stays stuck close whenever i want to use it ?

my front camera has not been working ever since i updated to ios 6.1. the back camera works fine but when i push the rotate camera button to use the front "facetime" camera the virtual Shutter stays close and doesnt open and freezes. Ive reseted the phone and even restored the phone to have nothing on it and see if the camera would work but i have had no luck..please help ?
