How do I uninstall an update on my Facebook app? I have an iPod touch 5

Okay so I updated the Facebook app and now it won't work it keeps saying there's a network error but before it worked fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and its still not working. I don't know what to do but I need to uninstall the update so I can use it again, can anyone help?
