How are you importing the video into the computer?
I had the SD card in the slot on the side of the Mac. All of the files play off the card except three. But I need those three for a project. Very important.
Anything different or peculiar about the three that don't play? What's the format of the video BTW?
They show up as .mov (just like all the others) but the icon is white, not blue. When you click on either of the three Quicktime can't open them. Suggests the file might be in the wrong format, but they are all .mov's! I tried to convert them to avi and m4a to no avail. They converters don't recognize the files. This has never happened to me using as Canon DSLR for video. Not sure why 3 out of 25 clips (all .mov) seem to be corrupt.
If you put the finder in icon mode what do those files look like? If you select one of the file and do a
File->Get Info the type of file (Kind) will be displayed in the Info window, what does it say for these as opposed to one that works?
Try copying one of the bad file off the card onto the HD, any difference?
