Q: ios 6.1 wifi issue

ios 6.1 *****... we have all been having the problem...

lets hope apple will fix quick

I have had the iPhone 5 since the first day last September and the iPad 3 since Christmas.  I have never had any internet connectivity issues with either, but after the iOS 6.1 update on Monday night, I have had intermittent wi-fi connectivity at both home and work.  I have reset the network connection several times on both devices, but the same problem returns.  I cannot acccess the internet without turning my iPhone's wi-fi off and using LTE, and I cannot use my iPad at all.  I hope Apple corrects this issue quickly.  Again, I NEVER had a problem before the iOS 6.1 update.

iPhone 5 iOS - 6.1 here as well. Never had any issues before, now after updating to 6.1 Wi-Fi disconnects all the time.

I have the same issue on my iPhone 5 after installing iOS 6.1. Wifi keeps dropping whenever it feels like it. There are times when the wifi doesn't come on when I unlock my phone. I have to go to settings / wifi connection so my phone will connect to it. Very agrivating to say the least. Never had an issue until I upgraded to iOS 6.1.

Can I go back to the old software?

Thanks Apple! I thought this new iOS was going to fix a wifi issue. Not create one....

Let me know the next time you plan on "fixing" my phone. I may hesitate on upgrading..

I have the same problem, iPhone 5 iOS - 6.1 upgrade is unable to connect my iphone 5 to Wifi. Doesn't Apple test thes stuff before releasing it to hte public?

The IOS 6 worked jsut fine. Anyone know how to downgrade back to that?

I've had an iPhone 4S for over a year and it's been fine until the upgrade to 6.1 and now I have the same problem as you report.

My iPod touch loses wi-fi connection everytime I put it to sleep via the sleep/wake button. Only once has it happened otherwise.

Apple finally fix the wifi problem I was having with iOS 6.0.2. Now since updating to ios 6.1 my WIFI IS TERRIBLE! My router is up to date. I have reset network settings and my phone and still nothing. I don't understand how hard it is to make something work right? My wifi goes in and out with iOS 6.1. This is getting to be ridiculous! iOS 6 ***** all together! I wish I could go back to ios5!

I have both a 4s and an iPhone 4 and both are giving me wifi problems. I've tried resetting my network settings and it is inconsistent. Is there a solution ?

ios 6.1 is very bad. I think that with all the money we spent for an iphone Apple MUST suppport its devices better. Releasing an os with bugs it's not a good policy if Apple likes to not lose customers.

I'm having the exact same problem.  I wasn't having any issues with wi-fi connectivity prior to 6.1, now i'm having them all the time.  It either drops the connection, is EXTREMELY slow or it doesn't connect at all.  This is happening to ALL wi-fi connections that I've tried connecting to (3 in total so far).  It happened AS SOON as I updated to iOS 6.1 on my iPhone 4S.

I now find myself using 3G more than wi-fi, which makes me terrified of seeing my next bill!

Apple, obviously this isn't a one off situation...Please do something to fix this!!!

I have had wifi problems with 6.0.1 but 6.1 fixed them. Now i am having

random glitches everywhere. My music app glitches. when i push next sometimes

it will jump to a random point in the song. And once the music app totally crashed on me.

Then the weather wouldnt show for atleast a whole 24 hours. Apple needs to

get thier crap together

Same problem here! my iPhone 5 only connect with max wifi signal. If I go to onother room it wont connect. It worked just fine prior to this last upgrade. My 1st generation iPad as iOs 5.1.1 and it works just fine all over my place. Please fix this asap!
