I have a .mov video to watch and get a format not supported error signal. Won't open in iMovie or Final Cut either.

Hi,

Do you have Quicktime 7 Player.

You can install this (it gets placed in Utilities rather than Applications and does play some older format Quicktime Files

Hi,

I am presuming that Final Cut Pro has many more Export or Save variations than Quicktime 10 has.

I do have .mov files in iTunes that will not sync to my iPad or iPhone as the version on there cannot play them yet Quicktime Player does.

I also find the Inspector a lot more informative.
