I made a "Hello world" comment on a discussion to test my account, that I meant to delete immediately afterwards, but I don't see a way to do this. Thanks!
You can't delete any comment. However, I have reported that comment and it will be deleted sooner or later
You can edit a post within 15 mins of making it but you can't delete it.
In this case if you still have the ability to edit the post go in and put a line through the text that is there and add something sorry a mistake or posted in error

Your account won't be affected
Should not create a problem. People make mistakes, even those at higher levels.
You create problems for yourself when you break the rules (TermsOfUse link at bottom of page), but honest errors happen.
