MasterCard Gift Card help

I tried to put a mastercard gift card into itunes on my ipad

it said invalid security code so i out it in again.

then i went back into payment info and the security code field was blank even though i put the code in so i put it in 3 more times and still when i go back in the security code field is blank

when i checked the balance of the gift card online

5 $1 charges from itunes are pending.

Will that $5 be put back

and will the money ever show up in itunes?
