ipod isnt charging why?

last night my ipod touch died and i put it on the charger before i went to bed and i woke up and it said i only had 20% left... i made sure the charger was in all the way and everything but i dont know why it isnt working... Can Someone PLEASE HELP ME!!😢

- See:

iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting

- Try another cable

- Try another charging source

- Inspect the dock connector for bend or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.
