Last night I updated my iphone to ios 6 from ios 5.1.1 over the air. It took about 2 hours for my iphone to update, then a prompt said that my iphone will restart. The apple logo kept appearing on/off after the first few minutes. I thought that it's part of the process. After 30 mins it's still doing the same thing. I figured I'll just leave it overnight. By morning I looked at my iphone and it's turned off. I pushed the on button and the prompt said that it's low bat. I connected it to a power outlet and once again the apple logo kept on appearing on/off. It's been 4 hours since I connected my iphone to the power outlet and the device is still doing the same thing. Is this already a problem? If so, what can I do to fix it?

Try a Reset...

Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

If no joy...

Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Restore “...

If necessary Place the Device into Recovery mode...
