How can I copy a YouTube link?

If I am viewing a YouTube video link and click Share so I can copy the link (ie into a chat window or facebook), the only options I have on iPad are 1) Add to Favorites, 2) Email a link, or 3) Tweet. Previously I was able to copy the link. Does Apple seriously think I'm going to join Twitter just to share a silly video? No way. Where is the functionality here?!

And NO it is not acceptable to have to compose an email and cut out the link, as I have seen some threads suggest. That is idiotic.

Ook so you haven't updated the software of your iPad since 5.something. Because the old fashion tv was deleted with the 6.0 IOs.

Anyway, with the app with the current logo you can now follow the steps I previously mentioned to copy the link of the video.

Ok, when you are in the video, bellow the name in the description, there's a little arrow right next to the thumbs/thumbs down. Click there and then click on Share. Then click on the last option "clipboard" or something like that. And Voila! You can paste the link wherever you want.

Hope this helps.

Now I have two YouTube apps: the original one that looks like an old fashioned television (that until a week ago didn't work at all), and one with the current red and black YouTube logo. I can't delete the old app.

I tried opening the video link in Chrome, but the share options include anything BUT "Copy". It has Facebook, Google + blah blah blah... I just don't understand how this worked a few weeks ago and now it doesn't.

OK thank you I think we are getting to the bottom of this.

One last question (I hope)...will downloading the IOS update make my maps stop working? I have heard terrible things about the Apple Maps and I depend on Google maps--that is one of the most useful parts of this thing. I have been avoiding that update due to maps.
