App show update but cant update

Same thing here, showing 4 updates, but screen blank

Try this, I found on another post, mine is now working

Double tap the home button, you'll see a dock at the bottom appear, scroll and find the "App Store" press and hold on the icon until you see the red minus sign, tap the minus sign to close the app and try it again.

I had no problems at all with iPad and iPod touch with regards the update thing

Have you tried switching phone on and off then doing the steps that fixed your iPad. I'm not a pro but that's what I'd do. I can confirm mine is now working on phone after completing the steps I pasted

i tried switched off many time then follow same step of urs but still cant update the app cos blank white screen shown

i have the same problem in my iPad and can't seem to find the solution yet. i've tried all the advice given in this thread...

does not help me on my iPhone. Did the above shutting down the App program and even shuttng the phone down.

I, also had a blank screen in the updates menu. I tried many things to fix it. The one thing that did fix it was finding the apps menu in the active apps bar (double click home button) I held the apps button down for 2 seconds then closed the app with the x. Amazingly when I reopened the apps store icon, the updates were now visible!! Thanks Juaju!!

I was having the same problem and tried many things, from changing the date, to closing apps, to rebooting.

What finally did the trick was signing out of the itunes store all together. Settings>iTunes & App Stores

Then signing back in.

I have the same problem with my phone, but it seems did not work for me.

Sign out of iTunes

Go to App Store

Select non responding app

That will take you to app open screen

Select app that will take you to it's location

Select it

Go back to app open screen and select update

I think that is it, I didn't write it down

this does not address the issue at hand. why are you posting solutions to problems that are not being asked here? are you purposely trying to confuse people?

I am having the same issue where there is a blank page when trying to view UPDATES in the APP STORE app on my iPad. It says I have several 25 updates. I have quit all apps and restarted iPad several times, but it still does not work.
