i need help since i downloaded the new updte (6.1) i hvae been experiencing not being able to connect to my wifi, my sister that has not updated yet has perfect connection. please help
As long as the update went on cleanly try a "crash" reset by holding down both the home and power buttons together at the same time until the phone shuts down.
Give it a minute then power back on again and check the WiFi settings are all good.
Then, try to connect to your access point and all should be good.
If not check your access point settings as the "5" seems to connect faster and easier with WPA/PSK2.
It has worked for us over the last day or so for about 15 customers here in AU.

i tryed your method and it is unfortunate to say that it did not work, it has stayed the same, i am still unable to connect to my wifi, i dont know what else to do. Is there mabye another way? 😟
Hope it works for you and if not you may have to log into your router/access point and fiddle a few settings to get around this one. Not hard, just a little fiddly to get things smoothed out.

but i know its not from my router because my sisters ipod can connect through the whole hpuse and mine will only work with in 3 metres
Oooohhh so it does connect? but only has a very short range?
If so this is an entirely different problem.

ok i connect to my wifi but it is really short range, it has been doing this ever since i updated to 6.1, i know the problem isnt my router because my sis hasent updated and she has connecting through the whole house. do you know any soulutions to this problem?
