When I try to download a book from iBookstore, I'm locked intuo the U.K. iBookstore. The pop-up message says I have to change to the U.S. iBookstore. How do I do that?

Do you have a physical US address and a US credit card?
If you do, go to iPad's
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > change your country and region here.
If your iTunes region under settings is set to the correct region, then the easiest way to switch back to the correct bookstore in iBooks is to exit the app. Do this by double clicking the home button, then long pressing the iBooks icon and lastly click the red x. Click the home button again to get back and relaunch iBooks and you should be back in your home iBook store.
