I'm finished my editing, and I added chapters to my project in Final cut Pro X, how do I export my movie with the chapters included.

How do I export as master file and what is DVD authoring app?
I go to Share > Export Media >Next, it dont have any option that say export using markers or chapters, when i export it, it comes out as one video file, cannot skip to the makers I have set in my project. all can do is fast foward.
Add Marker, douuble click for options. The third button option is for Chapter Markers. The orange lolipop sets the posterframe. You can also Right + Click on a Marker to define it as Standard, To Do, or Chapter.

What version of FCPX are you using? Chapter marker support was only added in, I think, 10.0.5. What you describe in menu, Share>Export Media>Next, sounds like an older version of the software. Update to 10.0.7 and you will see the windows shown in Paul Figgiani's posting above and you can check to use the chapter markers. Also you will see Master file as an export location.
An authoring app is a computer Program that can create and burn a DVD such as iDVD, DVDSPro.

Wow I didn't even know there was an Updated version, I am using 10.0.5.
I also realize while I was watching a Youtube video, in the export box, the person export box looked different to mine, he had After export and Includes drop down arrows, and I have Video Codec, Audio file format, and Open with drop down arrow
is this a update I have to pay for? how can I update it?

10.0.6 has chapter markers. You would need to update to the current version.
How to update through final cut? or it is a new purchase?
You update through the Mac App Store's update page.
ok thanks but app store not finding that update, am not sure if its because it was not downloaded through app store. but there is no updates for me, if i can get that update link in final cut that take me too app store da would be good
The App Store is the only place you can purchase the software using an Apple ID. You have to register on the App Store with the Apple ID that was used to purchase the software.
