apple powerbook g4 12 inch won't respond to microsoft explorer 1362

hello my name is joseph i have a probelm i have a microsoft mouse 1362 and i bought it with a usb recivier that was for a 1364 mouse but it worked fine untill it suddenly packed in and i thought it was the battery that needed replacing (aa) then i put it my mums imac g5 but i dosen't work my powerbook is in tiger (10.4.11) and i have put a new battery in and it has a blue flash and then does nothing PLEASE HELP

Welcome Joseph,


After some MS wired mice proved unreliable with Macs a decade ago, i don't see a lot of peple around here using their current mice which actiually seem to be OK.


Although it's for Mac Office, you might ask in Microsoft's Mac forums here:


Office for Mac forums


Someone may have an idea, plus MS employees commonly post in that forum.


Also remember that, regardless of make, mice get a workout and fail at a rate higher than most other computer peripherals. Yours may have packed it in and it's time for a new one.
