Gang,
I upgraded to a new BTO MacBook Air from Snow to MT Lion and that went well but I have 2 or 3 apps that the OS says I have to reload. So as the instructions said delete the app go into the App Store and reload it.
Well it keeps saying the Apps are installed and will not let me reinstall them.
So how do we really do it?

You probably haven't completely deleted them. Time Machine, other clones, bits and pieces that get into odd corners; all can lead MAS to think you still have them.
Check with spotlight or EasyFind.
Use AppCleaner on each one found and then you should be able to reinstall.
Ok after you delete the files you have to reboot before it works.
