Why won't my iPod touch 4t generation let me watch any videos( itv player, 4od, YouTube, Facebook )

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I have this same problem. I tried the solution given by Illaass - didn't do anything at all. Help!

Not normal. Any other network devices having trouble?

Have you tried turning off your wireless router, waiting 15 seconds and turning it back on?

Otherwise if you tried a settings reset, an iPod Touch backup and restore seems in order.

I like to make a backup then save a copy of the file before I attempt a restore.

Backup files are saved in \Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

No other devices having trouble (and I run 15+ computers on my network) - I can use YouTube on my computer on the same network without any problems. My iPad is new and video has never worked for it. Got it in November, never seen a video. I've done 2 setting resets with no change. Doesn't seem to make any sense to do a restore since it's not worked from the store - but if you think that's a good idea - I can try that.

If you have two new iDevices where "video" is not working, check a different wireless network. If nothing changes, I'd check with Apple to fix it or get a warranty exchange.
