Can you use the magic mouse with a PC?

I have a MacBook Pro, and would like to invest in a larger external monitor that I can run through my Mac to make video editing a little easier. I would like to buy a magic mouse to use while editing but I don't know if it would work with a PC, does anyone know if it would work or not? (sorry if this was badly worded, I hope it makes sense)
