Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Disabled meaning what exactly? If it is disabled because you are locked out due to a forgotten passcode, you will have to restore the iPod.
Sammych7, did you notice the post is sixmonths old and you provided no new information on a question that is asked a dozen times a day.
Also for information most posters never mark the question as bing answered so just because a discussion is not mard complete does not mean that ir ia not resolve.
